Our son is now one year old, and has had these since he was seven months old. He loves them! He loves looking at the pictures, and though it is thankfully less and less, he still likes putting them in his mouth. He has crumpled them, drooled on them, chewed them, and probably tried to rip them to pieces, but so far there are no tears at all. They are a bit wrinkled after so much abuse, but that is not an issue for us. There are no words, so you can make up your own stories, or just name the animals - each page has enough detail other than the focus animal that it is easy to come up with stories. The pictures are beautiful too - not cheap looking at all. Review: My baby loves these - I have several of these book and my 7 month old loves them! He chews and crumples and flails them around.
