It looks cool and is very affordable for a well built pro-Ject. I can now jump around the room and the needle doesn’t skip! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great fit and finish and a bit overpriced however it did make a big sonic difference. *by B***R on December 15, 2022* At the end of the day it’s a painted slab of wood with some feet.. but did it make a difference in my system? I’d say yes. To achieve that type of finish on my own I’d probably spend way more than $169. I will say I added some rubber pads under the spikes and that helped reduce sound pollution even more. I’ve been wrestling with why I like this product in the first place and If I’m 100% honest I think it’s mostly about the style, it just looks great. I could have achieved the same sound improvements with a piece of plywood and some rubber pads. I guess you’ll just have to ask yourself if a $169 stylish all be it functional slab of wood is worth it for you.
