The handle straps, so far, have held up well even if the bag is heavy. These hampers are pretty stable when standing. Now will it hold up to heavy bumping??... not really, especially if it is not filled with clothes. Lid is pretty strong, though and it holds up to heavy blankets laid on it. Color is nice. It's easy to build them, too. All and all, they work and they look good in the rooms.
