I find that it does work for allergies but it also increases my dogs appetite a bit. So if your dog is a self feedig, meaning you put down a bowl of dry dog food for the day and fill it when it's empty, you will have to only give them the measured amount recommend for them. Otherwise you will have a fat dog, like we did. Lesson learned. However the pills the vets give you for allergies have many more side effects. I would recommend this tincture and say just keep your pet on a strict amount of food. **Q: Does this help immediately or does it take time to build up?** A: Been using this for about a couple of years now. Cannot remember but I believe it had pretty immediate response. Depends on how severe the allergy is.
