I recommended it ### ⭐ Review *by C***Y on February 21, 2019* I really wanted to like these... but I couldn’t. The first problem - the cost is prohibitive. The bag that arrived was surprisingly small. The weight came from the water in which it’s packaged. Second. I tried some straight out of the bag. It was akin to chewing on a tasteless crunchy rubber band. A rather strange texture combination and not a pleasing one. I tried adding some to a salad to see if mixed with a bit of greens and acid and fat it would miraculously become palatable. It didn’t. I tried to cook it - in order to soften it up... after boiling it for 15 minutes it still had the same rubber band texture but was a little less crunchy. Three minutes out of the water I added a little sauce and was quite pleased with myself... until I bit into my dinner, the kelp had cooled down a bit and was crunchy and rubber again. I’m beyond disappointed in this product. Perhaps it is ignorance and this is how folks enjoy it.
