Review: Really, really not for kids - There's a lot of hate for the animation. I personally don't care for the CG look... It's completely fine and isn't nearly as distracting as I was told about. This series takes place right after The Golden Age arc and is full of all the nudity, violence, and gore that you'd expect. The sound of that giant sword ripping through demons is one of the coolest sounds I've ever heard.

There's a lot of hate for the animation. I personally don't care for the CG look... It's completely fine and isn't nearly as distracting as I was told about. There has been a lot of negative criticism about this series. I want to resolve the issues. People are mostly confused about the animation. This is a comic style animation (different from regular animation). People are also confused about the production quality. It is not a big budget anime but an epic series to watch on a large screen TV. The episodes are addictive and the story is well written. This series has the best Berserk sword and armor animation, intense and striking. Overall a great series to own and watch!!
