This hose is used for wet pickup as well as with the small attachments when used with an R8407 stainless curved wand. I am not sure about the e2. You might check with the manufacturer **Q: Can I buy the silver metal hose pipe piece that you’re supposed to remove from the old hose and put on the new hose? I don’t have an old hose. Thx!** A: I can try to answer. Rainbow vacuums haven't changed much over the years. In most larger cities, there will be a vacuum repair person who has a jumble of old parts because they don't stop fitting. My best guess is to contact Rainbow or find one of these shops. **Q: Is this hose used for a Rainbow 2e (black 2016 model) vacuum to use for the upholstery, stair attachment, or floor attachment using water?** A: It will not work with the stair attachment, since it has no electrical wiring. It is a longer version that functions the same as the supplied hose to be used with the Floor Brush, Crevice Tool, Dusting & Upholstery Tool. **Q: Is this a powered hose? or non powered?** A: This is a non-powered attachment hose used for non-electric attachments. ## Frequently Bought Together - Rainbow Genuine E2 Type 12 and E-2 (eSERIES) Standard Hose Assembly, 7 Feet - RAINBOW Genuine Floor Brush Assembly, 12 Inch - Rainbow Genuine E2 Type 12 and E-2 (eSERIES) Straight Stainless Steel Wand --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/7344687-rainbow-genuine-e2-type-12-and-e-2-eseries-hose](https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/7344687-rainbow-genuine-e2-type-12-and-e-2-eseries-hose) --- *Product available on Desertcart Brazil* *Store origin: BR* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
