Total weight of 8 ounces, about 40% lighter than stock bipods. Injection molded proprietary polymer legs provide a consistently stable shooting platform without deforming or breaking under pressure. The MOE Bipod is designed to attach to the popular Uncle Mike's Sling Swivel Stud, and features a rapid attachment sling stud mounting system for quick and easy removal. The self-positioning stainless steel clasp ensures perfect alignment during installation, while the large ergonomic thumb wheel provides a strong grip and easy tightening. Also, the large ergonomic thumb wheel allows for a firm grip and easy tightening. Adding an optional low profile sling stud to the rear of the mount retains the ability to attach the sling to the foreend of the rifle. The MOE Bipod has a low stack height of 1.73 inches when folded for a streamlined design that doesn't get in the way until you need it. Legs are neatly stored forward and unfold without the use of buttons or levers and snap down to lock in place. Legs extend from 7 to 10 inches with 7 locking detents spaced 1/2 inch to slide and lock securely. I find this holds my rifle well for use at range, and it’s solid enough for use on my .308 precision rifle where I can reach out to 600 yards at our club. Probably not the best choice for field use because of the fixed head, but very nice and effective for range work. Easy to attach and holds solidly to swivel stud.
