The caffeine content in tea is approx. 1/3 of caffeine of coffee. Caffeine level is very similar in all these types of tea as they all come from the same plant Camellia Sinensis. Teas can be decaffeinated through a special process. I studied every decaffeinated tea on Amazon before choosing this tea. This tea has great flavor and does actually taste like a breakfast tea. The bags do not have strings, if that matters to you.
