Yes it dries your hair like any hair dye, but if you do some hydrating masks, use oil and good hair products in overall, your hair will look great! Note that if you want to reach a certain color or tone, you’d probably better go to a colorist. This is mostly for DIY cover your grays. I love my medium or dark ash blond colors. It’s pretty similar to my natural hair color but more cold, which I like.
