Also we used some silicone plumber's grease to install new valves to ease changeout next time. Don't overtighten new valves. The screw in the stem is different thread since they use different standard. If you can use provided screw you are fine. I have to find a longer screw that fits their thread to install, because my faucet used an adaptor to fit handle. It worked fine after installation. I have to use impact diver to remove the old cartridge.
