It is a little stretchy too which gives the material a little “give”. I will be using these bags to wash certain types of clothes that pill a little or shed some fuzz. **Q: Can you yse these to keep a comforter from getting ruined in the wash?**
A: The largest bag is ok for an afghan but I don't think it's large enough for a comforter.

**Q: How large are these compared to trash bags?**
A: Not as big as leaf bags but as large as trash can liners.  (I think)

**Q: Are the holes small enough that a honey bee could not fit through?  I need the holes to be very small...**

These are humongous! Great quality mesh bags and zippers but each one would hold a full load of clothing. Would be perfect for transporting and washing clothes at a laundromat or for a college dorm.
