The unit I received had manufacturing error that left the "removable" automotive style blade fuse, permanently soldered into the fuse holder. An attempt at fuse removal resulted in one side of the fuse holder pulling loose from the board. This was discovered after the return date; I could not find an information on the manufacturer. Disassembly revealed that while one side of the internal printed circuit board had been wave soldered and cleaned, the other side that required hand. soldering was not cleaned and had significant residual soldering flux. This included excess between the closely spaced pins on the display. (Excess flux can result in circuit failure under conditions of heat and moisture). Nobody checked to see if the board had been properly cleaned nor to see if the fuse was free after soldering... both obvious quality checks. While the unit was working properly before I tried to remove the fuse, I cannot comment on how long it might have lasted.
