Review: Read this - I hate writing reviews, I hope that's is clear. But for this game , you have to. First the graphics have pushed the PS4 to the limit. Storyline is brilliant and I can honestly say I was loving every single second I played it. Simple things such as a jump may lead to a roll or a stumble, they all felt real. Getting a gun or fighting your way out of a battle felt as though the struggle was personal. I played the original 3 games and I am not dissapointed. Don't get me wrong the first 3 had flaws, but this one didn't. It is a perfect combination of drama and action. Now for spoilers. Nathans brother comes into town, and persuades him into the old life. After Nathan has found a simple job in a simple life ( he does show the subtle link of regret) he gets back into it. Whilst I felt as though this Nathan and Sam dynamic is a bit to far placed, it makes sense that they are both related, and why Nathan set about all those years ago to become a treasure hunter. Characters are as brilliant as ever, sully, an all time favorite, makes a return and plays the father role again, which worked in the past and still does. A few members are missing granted. Chloe is a good character but when you realise what Nate gave up it's simple to see why they are not In contact. final word on the villains. They are good. They are the same as Nathan in the past. Wanting to earn glory instead of riches. Which is a perfect ending to the world that Nathan lived in. He fights those that seek glory when a few years ago that's all he wanted. This is a tale of family, and how far you are willing to go before you accept the boundaries of the simple life. We have all dreamed of it. But naughty dog made it a reality, in the shape of a game. Let's face it did we expect anything else from naughty dog 10 out of 10
Review: Superb Adventure - Drake Bows Out In Style! - This, the fourth and final instalment in "Naughty Dog's" famous "Drake's Fortune" series, has immense shoes to fill. Each of the previous three editions of the series have been ground-breaking games in their own right, scaling successively greater heights in terms of production values, graphics, audio and voice acting. So if naughty Dog needed to raise the bar with each release [and they certainly managed to], then the desire to go "even one better", to give this franchise a "last hurrah" must have been incredibly intense. So now we come to "A Thief's End", the last outing for Nathan "Nate" Drake, his old friend Sully and his lady, Elena. For fans of the series and for whom the cast are "old friends", there is much to love. For those who find their way to their first "Drake" outing, there is a wonderful, immersive game with much to commend it and much to send that first-time player back to seek out the three predecessors. This, then, is console gaming as it was meant to be. The entire game has been thoughtfully and lovingly enhanced. It doesn't matter if we're talking about the combat system, with more emphasis on stealth and strategy, or the puzzles, with more variety and scale; DF4 handles it with ease. But what stands to hold Drake's Fortune: A Thief's End up above the competition is the sheer quality. These are production values that would impress a Hollywood Producer and then some. Narration is top-notch, the audio is first rate and the graphics (on the PS/4, at least) are simply breathtaking. The cut scenes, for example, are animated to a quality comparable with Avatar: I could not think of higher praise to offer than that. Among all the incredible quality that this game brings to the gamer, perhaps the most significant is the cast. These are people that we've come to know and love over the last few years. They're imperfect, hot-headed, rough-around-the-edges and not always as nice as we'd like them to be. But they are easily among the most lifelike characterisations that you will find in any game, of any genre, on any platform. Playing DF4 is a bit like sharing an adrenaline-filled adventure with a small group of really close friends. No, not a bit like: that's exactly what this experience is. If you're an existing DF Player: what are you waiting for?! If you're new to Drake's Fortune, hunt around for the "boxed set" of the first 3 games and use them as an introduction to this one: they are excellent in their own right and you'll take much more from this story if you do. Pro's:- 1. Exceptional quality for a video game in all respects; gameplay, audio, graphics, acting, design, the works: this is 11/10 material... 2. Addictive, non-stop fun... 3. I could go on (and on), but, seriously, you should stop reading this review and just order yourself a copy, already... Con's:- 1. For the last of Drake's adventures, it did feel just a little short. But please take this with a pinch of salt - this game's run time is at least as long as any other similar game out there; I write this only because, as the last, this is something you're going to want to savour. 2. This is the last of Drake's adventures. OK, technically, that isn't a negative score against this superb game, but it's just a crying shame that there will be no more... Footnote and sum-up: it is possible that some may find the epilogue/ending of the game to be somewhat at odds with the rest of this instalment, or with the other games in the series, for that matter. But the thing is, with perspective, this is the perfect ending to a perfect series of adventures. Getting to see how things turn out right at the *very* end is the icing on the cake. Thank you, Naughty Dog, this one's an absolute classic.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bravo Naughty Dog, bravo

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is an action-adventure third-person shooter platform video game for the PlayStation 4 video game console. From the opening moment of Uncharted 4 to the very last scene, you’re on a journey that takes everything that Naughty Dog has learned through their last four games and rolled it into this final adventure for Nathan Drake. The game picks up a couple years after the events of Uncharted 3 where Nate and his lovely wife Elena are living a rather domestic life. One of the big changes from Uncharted 3 to Uncharted 4 is the pacing. Uncharted 4 is more of an adventure game than it is an action game. There are still several moments of action but you spend a lot less time doing it. This game is much more about traversing the world, pushing the story forward, and actually hunting treasure. More than any of the three games before it, you actually have a drive to find this treasure and it propels you forward. Traversing the world is still fantastic. Nathan has more upper body strength then the world’s finest Olympians. He is constantly pulling himself up ledges, and doing his best Spider-Man impression swinging from ropes to get from place to place. For me, Uncharted 4 is the perfect amalgamation of the last three entries into the series. You never get tired of any one activity because you never spend much time doing them. I will say though, if you weren’t a fan of the shooting or traversal in the games before, that has not changed much in Uncharted 4. The one caveat being there are far less bullet sponges in this game when playing on the Normal difficulty setting. Most enemies can be taken down with a couple of bullets, if not one head shot. There are a handful of armored enemies towards the end that do require a little extra effort. The game also adds in some driving segments that were some of the most fun I had in the game. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is in a class of its own. It’s an absolute treasure that combines action and story in a beautiful concert that I never wanted to end. It’s one of the rare games that years from now I know I will remember exactly where I was when the credits rolled and I said goodbye to Nathan Drake, one of the most prolific video game characters of all time. Bravo Naughty Dog, bravo.
