I mounted the rear fender directly to the seat post, skipping the pivoting section (see pics). This makes it look really streamlined and like original equipment. Now, onward to the mine fields... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mudguard for non dropping post *by K***S on April 7, 2026* I was really hoping this would work on my mtb, but unfortunately it didn't. If you have a dropper post, it won't work. The mounting bracket isn't wide enough to sit on your non dropping post. I was trying to place it below the dropper post and it just didn't fit. And if you do put it on your dropper post, then you can't drop. See pics for reference. Had to return it. But the plastic is sturdy, it comes with a front mud guard. I think it's a great price for the entire unit.
