I really like this foundation! It goes on super light and gives a soft, glowy finish without feeling greasy. The shade 40 Medium blends nicely and evens out the skin tone while still looking very natural—more like a tinted skincare product than heavy makeup. It’s comfy to wear all day, adds a nice radiant look, and doesn’t settle into fine lines. If you want something sheer, hydrating, and easy for everyday use, this is a great pick!

If you are 40+ and love a light coverage, this should be something you need to run for.......its light weight, its feels skin like, gives a flawless glow and hydrates your skin. I have used foundations from many brands and they tend to give a dry feeling after you use setting powder. But Cover Girl Ageless Skin Prefector Essence Foundation keeps my skin plump and hydrate all day.

I’m surprised at how much I like this. I am 27 years old and have very pale, cool tone skin. I’ve been looking for a tinted moisturizer for some time and really haven’t been able to find anything that meets the mark. While this definitely isn’t a tinted moisturizer, the fact that it is primarily skin care with some tint piqued my interest. I have sensitive combination skin with some heavy dry patches and a lot of acne around the chin. My skin tends to get very oily within a couple hours of the day starting. This product feels more matte than I was expecting it to, but that just helps it stick on a little bit better. I will say that it dries down pretty quickly so you have to work fast to blend it out but because it’s such a sheer coverage, it’s fairly forgiving. It’s not a flat matte finish but really just looks like skin. I do think it cleans my dry patches a little bit but nothing horrible considering this is under $20. I like that it’s fragrance free as well. I have a fragrance allergy and you’d be surprised how much of our skin care has perfume in it. I like to apply this with the beauty blender and I think it gives some pretty good even coverage. It does pill a bit for me but nothing major. Overall, I’m really pleasantly surprised. I have been trying some $40-$60 complexion products that I thought would work out for me and this is really great considering the price. I did take one star off because I feel like it can look a little streaky and may dry down before you get the chance to blend those streaks out.

Amazing! I was looking for a foundation that is lightweight, full coverage and breathable. When putting on your skin feels so good almost like you’re putting nothing on. The coverage is amazing. It definitely leaves you glowing with a beautiful after look. Would definitely recommend. And I’m sticking to this. It last all day there’s no smell so easy to put on.

Wrong color but thats my fault. I purchased it in my correct shade and it gives me a nice shimmer. I got compliments on my skin when I wore it.

I've been using this foundation for about a week and half now and here are my thoughts. Pros: 1-Very low tox and great for my sensitive skin. I know a lot of the ingredients are hard to pronounce which is normally a red flag however they are indeed low tox. 2- The price is right on point. It's an excellent value for the money. 3- It's fun to blend. It's so weird at first but I put just a bit on the top of my hand, blend back and forth with a brush and apply. 4- It's fragrance free. Having no scent is such an essential for me. 5- It applies smoothly and lasts all day without looking cakey (except where I have dry skin). Cons- I think the only con I can find is that I wonder if it wastes just a bit of product because I do have to blend it. However blending it straight on my face may be an option to fix this. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this foundation!

This is WONDERFUL product. I have a 5 min makeup routine and it fits in perfectly. Gives a su the glow, evens out complexion. Not Full coverage. But very glowy

Great product. I like how well it goes on and goes you a little tink without feeling like you have anything on. Is a little watery so make sure you shake it well first. I would buy again.

No me gustó se siente muy aguado

I've always bought this brand of foundation, but not the one with the little balls and clear liquid you have to mix together. This stuff is horrible! It's runny. Pump it into the palm of your hand and then mix the balls in the clear goo together to create a foundation. It's supposed to moisturize your skin and cover imperfections well. What it does, is dry almost instantly on your face. it's really hard to spread around evenly! When you do finally get it on your face properly, your face feels dry and all the little wrinkles in your face show up three times deeper, even with the moisturizer under it. Makes you look 10 years older. I would never recommend this to anyone. I'm going to just throw it away I wouldn't even give it away. What a waste of money this stuff is expensive.

Muy bonito acabado, no el mejor pero bonito. Si tienes piel seca hay que prepararla muy bien porque de agarra de las áreas secas de la cara. La cobertura es realmente ligera.

High expectations for a high price drugstore makeup skincare hybrid. I really gave this a good try. I have dry, mature skin. This was my experience… 1st attempt: Everyday skincare routine (serum, moisturizer, SPF) the skin perfector essence pilled liked crazy but clung to the dry patches. 2nd attempt: Just a moisturizer then applied skin essence…same result, pilling and clung to dry patches. 3rd attempt: just SPF then skin perfector essence again the same thing - pilling and clung to dry patches. 4th attempt: Just the skin perfector essence, still the same result, but a little less pilling but still clung to dry patches. Waited at least 5 to 10 minutes after skincare and before I applied the skin tint with each attempt. I used my fingers and I tried it with a makeup brush - the fingers were the better method even tho the look on my skin was not good. Tried a few more times to make this product work but sadly it didn’t for me. Any product that doesn’t layer well with sunscreen won’t work well for me.
