Review: Great Long Comic Boxes - The BCW Long Comic Book Storage Boxes are AWESOME! Easy to put together and seem strong enough when full to carry around. I am totally happy with these boxes and the price I paid for them, cheaper than my local comic shop for sure. One suggestion though, considering the weight when this box is full of comic books I suggest that you take some shipping tape, I used clear, and tape the bottom from side to side crossing the bottom of the box at the ends and in the middle, from end to end starting at the handle, then a complete circle around the middle of the box so you tape over all the cut ends of the other tape and make a complete circle ending with the tape sticking to itself. Reason 1: to give strength to the box and make it snug, reason 2 is that most packing tape I've used if you don't end up taping on tape itself then it will not stick properly. I even did a loop and a half on the handle so that it would hold the bottom panel in place. I've done this to all 20 boxes I've ordered and I am very happy with the results.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does inside of box have divider slots ?**
A: The BCW Long Comic Box does not have Divider slots.  Comic Dividers are sold separately.

**Q: How high is it safe to stack these boxes?**
A: I would go jo higher than 3 or 4 high if you do a criss cross pattern.  A fI'll long box weighs around 40 pounds.  So if you go higher than 3 or 4 the bottom boxes may crush

**Q: Any quick way to "plasticize" the edges of the boxes and lids?  Silverfinches get into the tiny openings and lay eggs after a time. Thanks!**
A: You could always run a bead of Zip-A-Way (https://www.amazon.com/Red-Devil-0606-Removable-10-1-Ounce/dp/B001EKHNRS/ref=sr_1_1) around the inside of the box lid before you close it up. The stuff peels off of surfaces easy enough, I imagine it would seal the boxes pretty well too. You'd also need to tape up the handles at the ends too.

**Q: Do "current comic book" size toploaders fit in these boxes?**
A: I'm not sure how bug a current top loader is but I do know that silver age size books with backing boards do fit in these boxes except at the very front or back of the boxes.  Golden age books will not fit in these boxes.  I hope my answer helps

The BCW Long Comic Book Storage Boxes are AWESOME! Easy to put together and seem strong enough when full to carry around.
