Cleaned both with the prep all then allowed it to dry then applied adhesive to both and placed on roof. Didnt lose one snow stopper all winter and i attribute it to the cleaning power of this product. Worked perfect. **Q: Will this remove residual oils from water based polishes on auto paint?** A: yes: oils ,wax and other contaminants too. In the aircraft production industry we used a chem called Freekote then we went to a water based version . Beings that Freekote is a mold release , the chances are you’ll find what product removes the mold release on that site as well. It’s a good question.
