Review: Great support - I bought one to help support my knee which has arthritis, due to 29 years, kneeling, crouching, for my job. It has helped support whilst doing my job. The velcro grips exceptionally well, to a point, it can be hard to remove, but rather that, than something which doesn't hold. I'd recommend.
Review: Custom fit and robust - One thing I can explain here which isn't quite clear in the description, is why 'one size fits all'. Under the four straps are the two hinged metal bars, which have velcro pockets slipped over them either end. This means that no matter what the circumference of your leg, you can fit the bars onto the main part of the material exactly where you want them either side of your knee, not too far forward or back. You only have to do it once, it will be a custom fit, and the attachment is very strong. Then the four main straps wrap around over the top of the fitted bars each time you put it on. There's a couple of squiggly lines of the kind of silicone used for women's hold-ups along the length of the material to help stop it sliding on your leg. A certain amount of tightness is needed to keep the brace as a whole in place, of course. Adjusting how far the brace allows the leg to swing back or forward is very easy, simply by locating pins in holes -- as pictured, the plastic cover on the case is open to reveal the mechanism inside. The covers on the mechanism look a little flimsy, but the unit seems rather robust even if just a tad unrefined in the level of finish. Overall, however, the build quality of this brace seems very good, and it certainly fulfils its function.

**Q: Is it visible under the nursing scrubs? thanks**
A: I would guess that unless your nursing scrubs are very roomy, then yes it would be visible.  I could not even wear it under normal pants - too bulky.  Had to wear it over the pants.  But most importantly, I returned mine, as I found it to be totally ineffective.

**Q: Can this get wet in a shower?**
A: It would stand up in the shower ok, it but it has a foam under the straps so after the shower it would have to hang up and dry. Or it would get cold on the knee joint while wet.

**Q: I unconsciously hyperextend my knees while walking and need to prevent my legs from going too straight-will this help?  Does it lock?**

Thank you for your enquiry. The support has two dials, one on either side of the knee, which allow you to set a prescribed range of movement. These dials prevent the movement of the hinge beyond this range, therefore you may find it useful for your hyperextension. Hyperextension of knee still not fully corrected. Also making it tight digs in to thigh muscles
