All our pockets and dividers are punched accordingly however if you wish to punch your own card or paper you will need an adjustable 4 hole die punch which allows you to punch various setting for different binders. We do not sell these on Amazon but do carry stock and they are £11.50 each plus shipping. **Q: Looking to purchase item for a university project. Document to be printed 250gsm glossy A4 landscape, do I need a 4 hole punch?** A: Yes, if you want put paper directly into binder. However, I used A4 landscape poly pockets. If you do -no punch required! **Q: Would this product be suitable to put A4 paper in instead of pockets? If so, would a standard 4 hole punch work?** A: Yes, this binder can be used without pockets for A4 paper or card. It is a standard spacing BUT for an A4 Landscape setting not the normal 4 hole Portrait Punch. You would need to purchase an adjustable 4 die hole punch. These can be adapted to punch all spacings for ring binders.We recommend the Rexel 420 or V430. Great product for my needs. I was finding it very hard to find an affordable A4 slip-in photo album in the landscape orientation. The PVC album has a shiny leather look and is padded to give it a luxury feel. The rings are the smaller 16mm type which are much nicer than the usual larger metal rings found on most binders. The binder is finished to a very high standard. I will be buying another soon and highly recommend this product.
