I absolutely love this model. It does everything I need. It connects to my music server, tablet, phone, and Alexa. I had ChatGPT instruct me on how to connect my music server. That made the job easy. Now I have hundreds of digital albums to choose from. I strongly suggest setting up Dirac Live instead of AccuEQ. This receiver gives you both options. Dirac Live is a bit picky, but stick with it. It's well worth the effort. I also used ChatGPT to figure out a difficulty I was having with Dirac Live. I've not had a single issue in the 6 months I've been using the RZ50. This is my third Onkyo receiver. It's dedicated to my listening room (aka: escape room) with 9 speakers and 2 subwoofers. It's a bit of heaven on earth. Review: Awsome Upgrade - I upgraded from an Onkyo TX-NR-828 to the TX-RZ50 and the sound stage after running the built-in optimization has made a significant improvement to my Home Theater. Onkyo also seamlessly compensated to my Klipsch speakers for optimum sound. Love this new Amplifier and it proves tge Onkyo is back in the game! ## Features - Advanced 9.2-Channel 8K/4K Network AV Receiver for high-definition audio and video playback - Features state-of-the-art DIRAC Live Room Correction technology for optimized sound quality - THX is Certified to delivering high fidelity movie, music, and gaming experiences - Supports uncompressed HDMI 8K/4K transfer at 40 Gbps, ideal for Next-Gen gaming consoles - Offers versatile streaming options, compatible with So-nos, Chromecast, AirPlay 2, and DTS Play-Fi - Sleek design with an aluminum drop-down panel for a luxurious look and feel - Includes H&A 12 Pair Speaker Connector Banana Plugs - Remote Control & 2x AAA (R03) Batteries Included ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DGRL9MP3 | | Audio Output Mode | Stereo | | Audio Output Type | Headphones, Speakers | | Best Sellers Rank | #187,736 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #203 in Audio Component Receivers #418 in Audio/Video Receivers & Amplifiers | | Brand | Onkyo | | Compatible Devices | Headphones | | Connectivity Technology | HDMI | | Connector Type | Banana Plugs | | Control Method | App | | Controller Type | Amazon Alexa | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 20 Reviews | | Format | WAV | | Manufacturer | Onkyo | | Model Number | TX-RZ50 K | | Number of Channels | 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | 4K, Spotify, Tidal | | Output Power | 250 watts | | Output Wattage | 250 watts | | Software Update Supported to Date | unknown | | Special Feature | 4K, Spotify, Tidal | | Supported Internet Services | Amazon Music, Deezer, Pandora, Spotify, TIDAL, TuneIn | | Surround Sound Channel Configuration | 9.2 | | Total HDMI Ports | 1 | | Total Number of HDMI Ports | 1 | | UPC | 192223260399 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Video Encoding | H.264, H.265/HEVC, VP9 | | Warranty Description | 3 Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty | | Wireless Technology | Bluetooth | ## Product Details - **Audio Output Mode:** Stereo - **Brand:** Onkyo - **Compatible Devices:** Headphones - **Connectivity Technology:** HDMI - **Connector Type:** Banana Plugs - **Controller Type:** Amazon Alexa - **Special Feature:** 4K, Spotify, Tidal - **Surround Sound Channel Configuration:** 9.2 - **Total HDMI Ports:** 1 - **Video encoding:** H.264, H.265/HEVC, VP9 ## Images ![TX-RZ50 9.2-Channel 8K/4K Network AV Receiver, 250W Per Channel at 6 Ohms + H&A Speaker Connector Banana Plugs, 12 Pairs - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71frOdniHqL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Onkyo I've had so far. *by E***F on September 8, 2026* I've had this receiver since March of this year. Onkyo also seamlessly compensated to my Klipsch speakers for optimum sound. Love this new Amplifier and it proves tge Onkyo is back in the game! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ No customer suppoprt--so far. *by L***N on May 24, 2026* There is no printed manual and the PDF manual does not seem to answer all questions about operation. I have e-mailed customer support and tried contacting them through their web site but after a week there is no response. The equipment itself is very nice so far--good quality. The TX-RZ50 is supposed to come with Dirac Live for speaker and room equalization and calibration but it does not work, always presenting a network error. I have a good network that works with everything else. The Receiver is connected via Ethernet with is very robust. I cannot get an answer or response from Onkyo to help me with this problem as well as others. By the way, the banana plugs supplied free with the unit are pretty much useless. ## Frequently Bought Together - Onkyo TX-RZ50 9.2-Channel 8K/4K Network AV Receiver, 250W Per Channel at 6 Ohms + H&A Speaker Connector Banana Plugs, 12 Pairs - Highwings 8K 10K 4K HDMI Cable 48Gbps 6.6FT/2M, Certified Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable Braided Cord-4K@120Hz 8K@60Hz, DTS:X, HDCP 2.2 & 2.3, HDR 10 Compatible with Roku TV/PS5/HDTV/Blu-ray --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/656685566-tx-rz50-9-2-channel-8k-4k-network-av-receiver](https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/656685566-tx-rz50-9-2-channel-8k-4k-network-av-receiver) --- *Product available on Desertcart Brazil* *Store origin: BR* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
