The larger spoons are bigger than usual but I find this a plus. This is definitely not silverware that you leave sitting in a sink or even put in a dishwasher. It’s a beautiful black color so should be hand washed and dried immediately. I even bought a separate silverware holder with a lid just for this set. I am planning on purchasing another 8-piece set. I love it! Review: Really nice feel silverware - Ok, I do absolutely love this silverware set. I had a set for 15 years and they gradually vanished, I guess lost, thrown in the trash, who knows. I tried for 2 years to find something I liked as well. I am very particular about feel and weight and shape and all that. It is also so expensive to find something really nice. The only complaint I have is that the knives sometimes don't come clean and shiny out of the dishwasher. It's probably that someone loaded them badly or more user error than anything, but I want to have all the details when I read reviews, so here you go. Am loading a pic where you can see if you zoom in the watermarks left on the knife. (they are quite shiny so taking a photo means the reflection may disguise things) If I just wipe them as they come out of the dishwasher, that goes away. I love the feel and weight of the handles and the shape of the handles. The only other thing to be aware of is the "small" spoon is not small. Looking in the 2nd photo, you can see where I took a pick of my previous spoons, small and large next to these. The small spoon is the same size as the large spoon in my previous set. That being said, I don't really mind the size difference myself and I love everything else about this set. ## Features - SILVERWARE SET INCLUDES: 30-piece flatware set includes 6 dinner knife (8.92 inch/2.75 oz),6 dinner fork (8.31 inch/2.07 oz),6 dinner spoon (8.11inch/2.64 oz),6 salad fork (7.01 inch/1.41 oz)and 6 teaspoon (6.9 inch/1.63 oz), service for 6 - FABRICATION: Crafted of high-performance 18/0 stainless steel with advanced hot forged process to strengthen durability and corrosion resistance. - DESIGN AND APPEARANCE: Mirror finish, natural and elegant design.Smooth and silk surface without grain, easy to clean and care in daily use. It’s also a wonderful choice as a gift. - CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Dishwasher-safe for your convenience. Hand wash recommended, dry them before storing.
