**Q: How do I get this to work with Webasto harness 9035202a?**
A: I believe the part number you quote is for a basic wiring harness supplied in some heater kits. It allows only heater operation with standard rotary controller and heater air inlet temperature referencing

**Q: This kit seems to require that a terminal connector is already present at pin 8 & 9 on the harness.  What is recommended when pins 8 & 9 are empty?**
A: the suggested method of connecting we have tried to show in the 3rd image of this listing. Thank you

**Q: Does the use of this sensor allow the fan to shut off when the desired temperature is reached?**
A: this temperature sensor allows the heater to sense room/cabin temperature as a reference for heater modulation (lowers heat output when temperature gets close to desired temperature). Without this sensor connected then the heater uses the temperature of the heater inlet air as reference temperature. So the short answer to your question is 'yes', but dependent on your heater installation and where it draws it's inlet air from your heater should already be attempting to modulate heat output ( or is the heater always drawing in cold air perhaps? eg from outside)
