A: Yes, you can check power going through the fuse. You use it like a test light. It will display the red + for power and show you the voltage that fuse has going through it.

**Q: How long are the battery cables?**
A: The cable attached to the unit is approximately 20 feet long.  Its plenty long enough to reach every point in the vehicle.  I really like mine.  Its easy to use.

**Q: how many volts does it put out when powering items**
A: This works on 12 and 24 volt DC systems , it will provide the voltage that its hooked to . So if your attached to a 12 volt battery it provides 12 volts, it also has a resettable 15 amp circuit breaker and a ground lead for testing components. Best tool I ever bought and have using for 20 years!
