**Q: Is the whole toaster plastic ?**
A: Inside and basic construction is metal, along w/ the bottom crumb tray. The exterior is a type of insulated plastic that never appears to heat up. Gave it the hand test when done w/ my toast. :o)

**Q: Many of these pictures are for a 2 slot toaster when this is a 4 slot toaster.  Does that mean the reviews are for the 2 slot?**

For the price it's okay. Fits a regular slice of bread, not for wider sourdough or anything. Toasters are too expensive.....for as simple as they are.
