The instructions were not great but if you have some experience with controls you can get it hooked up. The screws in the enclosure were loose and the switch was floating around inside. Do not see them shown on any of the diagrams.** A: You don't use neautral wire in a 220/240 circuit . Two hot leads and the ground is all you need . **Q: Can I use a external switch to control this mag starter** A: It comes with a switch on the side of the housing, but im sure you could run your own switch. **Q: I have a big air compressor with a 5hp motor, it doesn’t have capacitors on motor, will this start/run it?** A: If your motor is Three phase then it won't work, this starter is for single phase 220-240 volts **Q: What are the power requirements needed to pull in the coil?** A: I would have to be 110v or 220v unless there's a built in transformer, which I doubt. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Price *by E***N on May 30, 2020* I purchased his product because of the price and availability.
