The tartan one, however, had to be put on its loosest setting straight from the get go, for my other chug puppy Brian (who is ten days younger) both harnesses were purchased in a size small.I’m not particularly keen on having to put the harnesses on over the puppies’ heads, they don’t like it either, although taking the harnesses off seems worse than putting them on for some reason. My smallest pup doesn’t seem to mind as much as he has a smaller head, but it’s definitely more of a struggle with the larger pup, as it’s really snug, & although there’s adjustment for the chest area, the head hole seems a bit too small for a dog who’s at the size limit everywhere else.All that being said, these are lovely harnesses, they appear to be well made, they look great, & they feel nice & soft, so I’m assuming they’re comfortable to wear. I’ve had them a little while now, & I haven’t encountered any problems with the clasps, everything on the harnesses seems secure & of a decent quality, & the reflective strips are a really good addition, especially for my black puppy, who would otherwise blend into the darkness.If you’re purchasing for a puppy, be prepared to have to buy several different sizes as they grow, otherwise, wait until they’ve finished growing before you purchase their final size, & just use a collar & lead until then.I’ll definitely be purchasing these in the larger sizes, I think they’re very reasonably priced for the quality of the product, so not prohibitively expensive to buy in each size as & when the time comes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant *by G***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 September 2019* Bought this for my short legged Jack Russel in size Medium. Despite assuming my dog is classed as a small dog- the small size must be for teeny tiny dogs. My JR is a normal strong built dog and medium fitted him perfectly and accommodated for his muscular neck.Tartan style looks great and stands out well,Body is adjustable and I left it slightly looser for a bit of breathing space. Neck fitted perfectly and felt secure.
