Compared to other budget iems, has unnatural timbre at the mids versus Wan'er original, not as dynamic or exciting as the Chu 2, although slightly less fatiguing in the upper treble, probably because I found it weirdly low res over all. This is after getting two of these, thinking the first one might've been a lemon. Can easily tell by comparing to my Novas. Cannot get the sound I want out it from tip rolling or EQ like I could with other budget iems. It's got really nice sub bass however to my ears, that's not dominated by bass, so sometimes I enjoy it for EDM. Despite my reservations about the sound I bought two of them, because the cable is good.
