Only lasted 12 months before dying - good riddance. - I have had this router for just over 1 year. I had high hopes for it, but honestly, it has been a disappointment. Horrible problems when upgrading the firmware, user names and passwords stored in clear on the device and in backups, bad IPSEC throughputs and poor WAN to LAN and LAN to LAN inter-switch speeds. Lots of bugs in the firmware that have been fixed, but many remain. Most of all I hate the fact the upgrades usually mean that your have to re-enter all of the config by hand. There's no scripting available, and if you do use a backup file after an upgrade, you will probably break the unit because the settings are rarely backward-compatible. Support is sketchy. I gave up using them when I was asked to provide remote access and also the admin password for my device "so that support could poke around sometime over the next few days". They have no idea about security. Last week I upgraded to v1.9. It bricked my unit. It's out of warranty (+1 year) and has been too much of a pain to manage. I'm pleased it is dead, and although I've lost £4000 on it, good riddence. I wanted to like this unit, but unless you only do the most basic routing it fails.
