Doesn't feel unstable. And detaching the preacher curl arm rest and leg attachment is actually very easy! You can do workouts for almost every body part! Very easy to assemble too! Took me less than 30 minutes! The only cons I would say is the little gap between the seat and back rest can be uncomfortable if you're doing decline workouts but most non-beginners probably won't mind that. Also, some people might be bothered that the seat doesn't incline or decline as well, but not an issue with us. Otherwise this was a great purchase and well worth the money!
