I just finished using these shell scoops -sand sifters almost everyday for two weeks. These are great. I got an added bonus from mine. I’m an older woman and I found having the scoop pole gave me a bit of extra stability when I was walking in the waves at shore, plus getting any shells I was spotting. If the sand in the scoop is wet you need to put it in shallow water to rinse off any shells you can’t see.
