I did several applications of ridgizer and then multiple thin coats of refractory cement. Noting that it had no "chokes" for the burners, I fabricated a couple using copper tubing - TOTALLY unnecessary. The burners fairly roar - and generate plenty of heat. A possible improvement might be valve for at least one burner for the times you need to heat a small piece; I may end up adding them to both. As an aside, I happened to have a Camp Chef Portable Dutch Oven Table on hand.
