Review: Was able to make work without the tape measure. - 1) Tape measure is only metric. 2) There is approximately 30 cm offset in reading because clip and stuff after the tape measure. 3) It came with a nut to tighten to disk; however there were not enough threads to get the nut on. I ended up buying a flat washer instead to fill the gap. The tape measure was difficult to use, got wet, and with 1) and 2) above didn't add value. Instead I tied on the included nylon rope with markings every 6". This is simple and easy to wind up and store when not using.
