From the lack of individual wrapping it seems these were designed originally for restaurants and other establishments selling food in higher volumes, which is fine especially when peeling each slice away from the stack is easy to do. Plus, less plastic used is always good! Many reviews mentioned that they melt nicely and have a good flavour to them, however some stated that there is an unpleasant saltiness that overpowers the tangy cheese flavour you are looking for. I have to say that unfortunately I agree with the latter and that the saltiness ruins it for me, although I could only notice it enough to not like it when I tried a little melted on its own. In wraps they are ok, seem to harden back up pretty quick compared to other processed cheeses I’ve tried which is disappointing when you enjoy the gooeyness they are so famous for. Tastes OK yes, didn't realise they come in 4 blocks of 28 slices in each block. No separate liners. So keep in mind if you need to store this as I have done, half in the fridge and half in the freezer. The fridge half I put into a Tupperware container so they keep better and don't go stale and stick to the fridge shelf. The other half will come out to defrost when I need more. I'll let you know if this wasn't a good idea! Hopefully will be OK. Long sale buy date till December 2021, came well wrapped in a foil bubble wrap and still cool when arrived.
