I started out using it with a USB function straight to the computer. The mic has great gain, and reverb control with the knob directly on the microphone where you can also mute it, simple function and great a microphone. We then upgraded and purchased the Maono Monocaster G1 mixer and use the XLR connection on the back of the microphone. It's very clear and crisp set properly using either USB or XLR. The sound audio is studio quality. When I make clips or go back and watch my videos on demand it's very clear and distinct. The other thing that sets this microphone and company apart is their customer service. The shock mount broke last week, I emailed the customer service department to see if there was anything they could do, they help me very quickly and are shipping me a new shock mount without 10,000 questions of how and why they just responded. Hey, we got you! I gave it five star. Would recommend to anybody that does any kind of podcasting streaming or video making, editing, vlogging etc. The boom arm it comes with is sturdy and I have not had any issues with it. Overall a fantastic product. Great price range.
