OEM Front Back Housing Shell Faceplate Grip Cover Replacement Repair Parts Accessories Kit for Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller

For the last 3 years, I have ended up purchasing a replacement shell once per year as the controller starts to look bloated and the grips start to peel. This shell is the most accurate copy of the original controller so I am pleased with their attention to detail. The only missing component would be the glue that holds the magnets in place but it doesn't affect the functionality of the controller. Only time will tell how long this shell holds up. I'm seeing a few complain about the tools but $20-$25 is the standard price for a decent replacement shell so consider the toolkit a bonus.

This replacement housing made my old controller new again! It came with all the tools needed and was very easy to install. Took about 30 minutes. Looks OEM too with all the same markings as the old one. Highly recommend this!

I only needed the front part of the kit, but I am glad I bought the complete set. The tools that it comes with worked great for the task. I liked the metal pry tool the most as it is thin enough to get in to the controller and strong enough not to bend out of the way like some of the plastic types do. Did not have a problem with anything scratching the controller as I was taking it apart. It looks just like I just bought my controller, and does not interfere with any of the controls or buttons. The grip is just like new now and the color is the same as my original.Even though I did not use the back side I think it was worth the price. It looks great and I am very happy with my choice to get this one.

The tools are terrible. The t6 basically stripped and it messed up my screw. It was almost impossible to remove because this tool messed it up. The shell portion of this is fine but don't use the cheap tools included. I don't recommend it.

Basically made my Elite Series 2 brand new from using almost 2 years of non-stop use.Tools and screwdrivers provided, BUT they are low quality and if a screw is glued, your tools will strip before the screw does. Get a pro electronics kit… I highly recommend it.If you dont have tiny double sided sticky for the magnets, hot glue will work. I used black silicone hot glue for the magnets and they work for the charging built-in the ES2 cover.

I've had my Elite Series 2 for a couple of years now. Over that time I've had issues with the palm grip texture starting to separate. It has made the controller feel different. Over the last 6 months I've had to remove the front face to make multiple repairs to the shoulder buttons. During those repairs the front face took on more damaged and always sat different when put back together. I finally caved and purchased this to replace the shell of the controller rather than spending hundreds of dollars to replace the controller. A YouTube video later and my new shell is on and the controller feels like new! This is definitely a good option if you have issues with your controller shell.My biggest issue with this kit is that one of the screwdrivers stripped out while screwing the parts into the new shell. I had a screwdriver kit I use for PC and phone repairs so I was able to finish with those, getting the controller back together with no other problems. Beyond that, the controller feels great!

Everything came as described. Used a YouTube video from user Hanni HE. Only issue was the spring loaded trigger stops screws. Take your time with putting those in. After taking mine apart I found that the battery was expanded so I had to order a new one that's the reason why my case was cracked all over.
