I bring it to games so the kids can hit soft toss or off a tee to get warmed up before the game. It is very portable. The legs are long enough where it doesn't require me to secure them in before hitting. The net itself is made of nice material that has withheld thousands of baseballs being hit into it. I expect this to last several season if not more. The metal poles are strong and I don't have any issue or thought that they might not last long. If necessary I would definitely buy this again and I would recommend this product to a friend. I like that it can easily be assembled and taken down. When in the bag it is small enough to put in the trunk of my car, it isn't too heavy so it can easily be carried by a kid.

**Q: does it come with baseballs?**
A: no

**Q: When i order this item, why have i twice received a smaller and very different style of net? how can i receive this actual net? the 7x7 baseball net**
A: I would return the SKLZ net and get something else like a Powernet. I had issues with this SKLZ net when I bought it too. First one came with a hole in the net and the second one came with a much cheaper bag and the net came with rope hooks instead of the plastic connections. The net itself was much thinner too. It looks like SKLZ has been cutting cost on their products but not updating the product images.

**Q: What style net (5x5 or 7x7) would be a better choice for a 9 year old working on batting drills in the backyard?**
A: Either would work, but personally, I would go for the 7x7 for even batting off of a Tee. Then, I'd use the 5 x 5 for placing at first base and running fielding drills from third, short, and second.

**Q: What are the dimensions and weight when collapsed? I want to be able to fit it into a suitcase to bring with me when I travel (by air) for the summer?**
A: I have the 5 x 5 size and it is 40 inch long x 8 inch at the widest point when it is in the bag. The weight is 9 pounds.

This is a great baseball hitting net. After a few times of assembling I have been able to easily get it up and taken down within a couple of mins. I like the fact that it serves it's purpose and is pretty easy to set up. It's overall a very good product but I have started to notice that it may not withstand the test of time as well as I had hoped but I do hit into it very hard a lot...so we'll see.
