I was extremely impressed with these cotton pads they don't break up , they are so soft and gentle on my son so much so that since getting him home we don't use wipes on him at all we have bought boxes of these cotton pads from desertcart and use them with warm water they are excellent and with just using water and cotton pads we have had no problems with bum rashes which most baby wipes cause the only other thing we use is bapanthem nappy cream just for moisturising his bottom and to take the redness away from round his legs where the nappy sits. The nurses that were caring for our son were also impressed with these pads we stocked up his cupboard in hospital with them for when the nurses changed him during the night. They're a decent size (~3x3") so perfect for cleaning babies bums with a bit of warm water. I think the smaller circular ones (the ones geared towards removing make up and nail varnish) would be too small. Very good quality - they don't leave bits behind like cotton wool pleats do.
