I have a pot of salicylic acid gathering dust now as I prefer to use the tea tree oil. It smells, but so did the salicylic acid, and like the salicyclic acid, the smell goes away after a few minutes of being applied. It hasn't done anything for my papule, but I don't think anything will short of some kind of procedure. It's not that big anyway, it's just that I know it's there. It's helped me with the other spots though. Not a miracle cure, but a worthy treatment that's worth the money, considering it will last a long time even when applied twice daily, and if it can reduce the size of the problem or even eliminate it if you're lucky, then it's definitely worth it.
