The test did have a handful of questions that were not in the book but they were Florida specific. There is no way one book could have all of the potential content on the test.The practice tests and the multiple choice throughout this book were very similar in structure and difficulty to the actual test.I passed the test my fist try because of this book! I would absolutely recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Inconsistent *by H***H on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2019* The text in each section is much broader than the practice questions for that particular section.I just completed the first two sections: Nature of Science and Molecular & Cellular Biology. The second section was particularly bad about asking practice questions that were not referenced within the text I had just read.For example, check out the 'Look Inside' feature, scroll down to pages 92 and 93. Question #62 on page 93 is never discussed within the referenced section. Neither is it discussed prior to or after the question is asked. This is only one of several questions like this. However, there have also been several other questions that are quite relevant.Hopefully the remainder of the text will have practice questions consistent with the text section. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great resource for prospective teachers with SOME biology background *by E***C on Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2019* Honestly, this book is an excellent source for prospective science teachers in the state of Florida. Not only does it prepare you for your Biology 6-12 subject area exam, it takes complex topics related to biology & chemistry and really simplifies them to a more intuitive state.Disclaimer: This book does assume that you have SOME background and experience in Biology. I would NOT use this as my only resource if I didn’t have some experience with Biology. It isn’t meant to be an all-encompassing biology source.
