Review: It does what you expect it to do. - This is a nicely made, logically designed dish washing brush. The brush is comfortable to use with a soft grip handle. The brush head has reasonably stiff bristles and a central hole where the washing liquid comes out. The bristles are not too tightly spaced so they rinse out easily ready for next use. The chamber for the washing liquid is transparent so you can see when it’s time to refill. To start using, unscrew the cap at the end of the handle and fill with washing up liquid before replacing the cap. Press the soft button on the handle to release liquid into the water. There’s a small ridge on the brush head to help remove food debris. This is Oxo’s 2nd iteration of washing up brush. The first version had a longer handle with the port for dishwashing liquid positioned at the base of the handle. Unfortunately the silicone bung had a tendency to catch on the rim of glasses, pans etc, causing it to flip open. This newer model is more compact and definitely an improvement. There’s no risk of soap leaking out and the screw cap has a nice positive twist. Oxo now produce a variety of household equipment. I own many of their products which from my experience are always very well made, reasonably priced and often an improvement over competitors.
Review: An essential kitchen item. - Makes washing up so much easier! Not sure how we did washing up before this. We waste a lot less soap, protect our hands and dishes are sparkly clean. It makes washing up pans, plates and everything a breeze. Cant fault it at all, it feels good quality, works brilliantly. Very happy with it, absolutely give it a go.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone else had problems with this item???  I love it, but I keep having to purchase a new one every couple months because it breaks or leaks!**
A: We've tried both the different configurations of soap reservoir handles, the one you fill by pulling the button out to fill it,and the one that is filled by unscrewing the end of the handle, and neither of them have lasted very long, not in the last couple of years anyway. The one with the button/plug leaks after a very short time because it no longer makes a seal with the handle, or the internal mechanism which opens the plug to the brush or sponge breaks off. The one that is filled through the end of the handle, the rubber of the button wears through where it connects with the handle. It seems that in the past they lasted longer than they do now, but I don't have any documentation in evidence of that. However, now I'm just no longer willing to pay the money for a brush/sponge handle (and the requisite sponges and brushes) when I'm having to replace them 3 or 4 times a year. OXO should really pay closer attention to the build quality, at some point no one is going to want to spend $80/year for brush handles on and ongoing basis. I kind of thought the point was once we liked the handle they had us hooked, buying the brushes and sponges for the rest of our natural, but now I'm replacing one almost as often as the other. I think I can do better, or at least cheaper.

**Q: does it have a scraper?**
A: Yes, there has a useful scraper to remove dirt from hard for my personal experience

**Q: Would the scotch-brite sponge attachments fit on this? the oxo brand sponge attachments look the same as the scotch-brite.**
A: For some reason the sponges don't fit the OXO the soup holder any longer. A real waste.

**Q: Does this brush come with the stand?**
A: I do know what stand you are referencing.  It allows for the brush to stand and dry and any water will drip down into the base and out a hole in the base into the sink.  It is very helpful IMO.  If this does not have one I recommended it.

Exactly what I was looking for this is the best dish washing brush ive had ! And that is Many !!! The grip is great and comfortable for my osteoarthritis hands ! The bristles are very flexible and exllent quality ! Can see this lasting a while so in my eyes perfect and even has the option to put liquid in what more do you want for the washing up etc ! So my own personal opinion this is amazing well worth the value for money item !
