I used it for the first time to staple together 14 sheets of A4 paper and one sheet of card to make a booklet when folded in half and it coped with this very well. It didn't take much pressure for the staples to puncture that amount of paper and it works very smoothly. The length of the staples will obviously limit the amount of paper you can staple together but it will certainly suit my needs. I used it for A4 booklets, 4 sheets, and it was just the job. Can't say what it's capacity would be but I am sure it would cope with twice this amount without problems.
