I do wish it came with a lid because having a lid helps limit soda ash on top, but it’s worth the price for sure! I don’t even have to clamp the sides because they don’t bow at all. It’s sturdy and really good quality for under $20. It’s easy to clean, and the soap comes out easily without to much maneuvering.

A: Your mold should not cause bubbles in your soap.

**Q: Is it 42 oz that each mold holds or 42oz between the two ?**
A: each mold holds 42 oz of soap batter.  you would have to calculate your soap recipe to figure out the amount of oils.  I believe it to be about 32-35oz of oils
