A: Yes that’s true, O2 sensor port before the catalytic converter from the engine side.

**Q: The can says, "restart the regeneration process through a workshop tester."  what if i don't have this capability? 6.4l ford**
A: Buy a cheap ELM OBD USB adaptor with an MS-CAN switch and use Forscan to run the manual regeneration process. You'll have to search forums and learn a bunch to accomplish this. Alternatively take it to a Ford dealer or a mechanic with Ford IDS (Ford's licensed diagnostic tool for automotive shops) and they will do it for a fee (usually an hour of labor cost).
