A: Do not buy Zippo butane. It is not well refined. It will likely stop up your torch. Buy Colibri or Xikar fuel.

A: According to the label on the can, it works for all butane lighters. I have only used Zippo lighters so I can't tell you more than that. The can has a pointy nozzle which gets placed into the fill hole on the lighter. Then you press down on the can (can is upside down) and the butane fills the lighter. I hope this has been helpful.
