Review: If you have a jet bathtub...USE THIS - We had always had suspicious "bits" floating in our jet bath and despite topping up the bath and switching on the power they still remained. I used a whole bottle of sterilising fluid recently and rinsed it all out and after few days I'd had a bath and had not used the power jets, ... to give it a quick clean. Got out of the bath and turned them on and was mortified to find the water was dark grey and the sediment at the bottom of the bath was literally black. (This must have been loosened by the sterilising product I had put in a few days before). I did some research on the web and found Oh Yuk. It had good reviews and so I ordered some. I used this as soon as I received. I topped up with cold water and added 2oz, turned on the jets and when I did ...I said "oh YUK"!!. The amount of gunk that came out of the pipes was appalling.....it left a sold black line round the bath! I left the bath running for half an hour, cleaned out the bath and then waited half an hour and did the same thing again. The second time it was almost clear. It does soap up but not overly... a bit like when you put a special oil based bath product in. The day after I filled up the bath and ran it without Oh Yuk and it was virtually clear. I am going to run it again with Oh Yuk system again. I will use this product every month from now on and although it is a bit pricey, it means that I know my jet pipes are being thoroughly cleaned and my family can have a power bath in complete confidence. It is really important to clean your pipes on your power bath as they harbour so much bacteria (which can make you ill) and it is easy to overlook that fact when we are busy. We can sometimes concentrate on the things we see, rather than the things we can't. Oh Yuk has taken care of that. Would really recommend Oh Yuk.

**Q: in one of the reviews, it says it caused the pipes to leak anyone have this problem? I dont need a mess or large bill. thanks**
A: I just used tonight for the 1st time and it causing leaking from pipes down into the 1st level of the house.  Never had a issue with the tub before and 11min My wife went get something the kitchen and the ceiling was all wet, water dripping down the light fixture. 45min the drywall seams in the ceiling all crack and bubbles out. 

I really wish I would have gone through the reviews!

**Q: Should I keep using this if I am halfway through my third bottle and have used this each time consecutively? Brown-green sludge comes out each time.**
A: I realize this is an old question but I’m responding for others who may need the info now. I used five rounds of the cleaner (so one full bottle plus 1/4 of a second.) For the last couple rounds, I filled the  tub and added the Oh Yuk and let it sit for an hour or two before even running the jets (I have an air jet tub). It seemed to help. I also noticed on the company website (after I finally got my tub cleaned out) they recommend the following approach for really stubborn ones: Fill above jets, add product, run jets for 30 minutes. Do not drain. Let it sit overnight, add another 4 Oz of product and run for 30 minutes. Drain and rinse.

**Q: Will it work on my air jetted jacuzzi tub?**
A: The bottle says jetted bathtub cleaner. There is no other equipment noted on the bottle. A website for the manufacturer is on the bottle:  www.ScientificBiofilmSolutions.com. **Q: These directions say add to water, run 15 minutes then spray off and wipe off black ring. So no need to refill tub up to top and rinse out the jets?**
A: I always let the cleaner circulate for 15-30 minutes, then drain and clean the ring around the tub . Fill again with cold water and let it run for 15-30 minutes, it usually clears out even more scunge.  Wipe the tube down again and depending on how dirty you think the jets are, run another cycle cleaner/water and fresh water to rinse jets again.  This product really does work.  If your tub was like mine, you may have to run it through and rinse several times to get it clean.

What is this voodoo magic? I’m always a sceptical and never write reviews but always fall for the gimmicks. I actually hadn’t used my spa bath for a couple of months and it’s not that well used. I did a clean the day before with vinegar and bicarbonate and left. It running, Unscrewed the jets and i thought “job done”, I seen a social media post about this stuff and thought ill give it a go, it is expensive as obviously it’s from USA. I couldn’t read the instructions as the sticker was over it! But I put about 1/4 bottle in and left it running for about 30 minutes….wow just wow! How on gods earth did I think my spa was clean after seeing all the rubbish coming out! So washed the gunk away and the oily scum stuck to the side and did it again….more rubbish so I did it for a 3rd time the day after and left it running for an hour….OMG….amazing stuff highly recommend! My spa bath is so clean and ready for use…but i don’t want to spoil it now!
