Review: Great price. Great cooler, kept ice for 2-1/2+ days. - Part 2 Revised Today I filled it with two frozen packs on bottomz, 8 cans of beer and 3 sodas. Also two samwiches and meet tray. Then ice cubes , after 6 hours on a sunny 70 degree day on the beach and opening and closing, there was very little water at the bottom, the two frozenpacks were still frozen, vert impressed.after 6 hours my beer was ice cold. Part1 bought this because Yetis are way too expensive and all the reviews said the RTIC is just as good or slightly better at keeping ice. I filled the cooler with ice from the grocery store, put in a few cans of beer and let it sit in my kitchen at room temperature. After 24 hours, still solid ice, very little melted water at the bottom. After 48 hours, more of a ice cube slush mixture, by morning on the third day it was all melted but still ice cold. Im guessing about 60 hours of ice life. I also read that bigger cubes last longer and there are probably some variables with ice and atmospheric conditions. I am very happy with how long it kept ice. I didn't sweat, its light, and from what I read it floats.

If I leave the cooler in my truck during the day (in Texas) it thaws pretty quick but I’ve not had anything get too warm. Kinda hard to zip but that’s so the seal stays tight so I can get past that.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this cooler comfortably fit in the back basket of a golf cart?**
A: I am not 100% sure because I don't have a golf cart but it is a really good size and I'm fairly certain you could secure it in other ways if it didn't

**Q: Would it keep a chilled salad cold for at least 8 hours without ice?**
A: With 2 Artic Ice 2.5# ice packs it will keep salad cold for 48 hours. One pack would easily do 8 hours.

**Q: Will this pass for a carry on item when flying?**
A: I fly with the 20-can once a month to Africa (24-35 hrs of travel). This cooler works great. I have used as carry-on and checked baggage; both on its own and insde a bigger bag. Like Dana K said, only use presealed ice packs. I use the the plastic medical packs like Blue Ice. NOTE: ALL TSA RESTRICTIONS APPLY!!!! A picnic lunch will NOT make it through TSA. Have copies of precriptions for any meds, be ready to have a visual check done by TSA and keep any liquid precriptions below the 4oz limit, each. Also, I have taked frozen meats with me. This cooler will hold about 15-Lbs and was still solid when I arrived. I just check my "meat freezer" and I think this helped. 35k feet makes a great cooler.  Plus I don't believe I would have passed TSA with 15-lbs of frozen meat as a carry on. 🤔😃. Enjoy your cooler. Cheers!

An awesome cooler for a day on the boat, road trips, family picnics, etc. Super easy to clean and the material is very heavy duty. The zipper is a little stiff, but gets better when you use the provided lubricant every so often. With a couple ice packs, this cooler has kept our food and drinks cold during a 95 degree day of boating in the sun. The carry handles and straps are strong and adjustable, making it pretty comfortable to carry.
