The display is large and easy to read, the buttons are well designed and easy to use and the battery compartment design should be a requirement for all such thermostats. The batteries are located behind a little door on the front of the unit and do not require pulling the unit off the wall to replace, absolutely wonderful. Temperature control seems to be accurate and is easy to set. The unit looks great, is compatible with a range of furnace types and is a good value for the price.

All battery operated thermostats should be designed like this one. The display is large and easy to read, the buttons are well designed and easy to use and the battery compartment design should be a requirement for all such thermostats. The batteries are located behind a little door on the front of the unit and do not require pulling the unit off the wall to replace, absolutely wonderful. Temperature control seems to be accurate and is easy to set. The unit looks great, is compatible with a range of furnace types and is a good value for the price.

72yo granny installed! As pictured, works well, good instructions for install, not difficult. Placing wire stickers is easiest with two people to make sure you get them on the right wires when removing old thermostat. Our a/c seemed to be cooler after this was installed- which doesn't make much sense to me, but yay! Ordered another for my sister. Update - Our a/c & heat systems really like this thermostat- turns only quickly, has improved function of both systems. It's old school, simple, heat/cool- up/down, no programming - lights up well, can read without glasses!!!!
