The unit comes with a standard ISO harness adaptor to plug straight in or, if missing in the car you can wire it yourself with a soldering iron and shrink wrap if you are handy that way. The included cage is sturdy enough and has a couple of release keys should you want to pull the radio out at a later date. The unit fired right up after installation, don’t forget to connect the DAB radio aerial. I bought this separately as it was a lot cheaper than the offered bundle. Setup is a breeze and quite intuitive. Sources include FM, DAB, Bluetooth, Spotify and a USB stick port on the front. I like that you can navigate through the latter, from the buttons on the fascia, it even allows you to move through folders. Pleased with the sound, clear voice audio and it has a much nicer sound stage than the ancient Sony unit it replaced. Create a long playlist in a cheapo memory stick and you’ll have hours and hours of ad-free listening. The front fascia pops off like they used to do in the 80’s for added security and it will go quite loud before the sound distorts. Nicely packaged and with a comprehensive manual. I've not heard it running yet as the amp built into her car isn't working, but I have had it running on the bench and it works a treat...!
