The black connectors are built differently than the blue ones, but I'm not sure why that's the case. Are the black one for outdoors? Are they for different sized cable? Again, there are no instructions, so I'm not sure. Although the kit itself is excellent, there is a problem with training the human operator. Cable feeding our modem got damaged and rather than pay the ridiculous fee the cable company charges for a customer damage service call i gave this a try. Cant say if they work with other fittings or speak to the availability of the ones it comes with but i dont need more so we’ll cross that road if we come to it. Once I realized that the connector can move inside the tool and place my thumb on it as I compressed it worked just perfectly. The connectors feel like they're never going to come off and it takes literally seconds.
